Ye and Ty Dolla Sign have dropped their first release and music video ‘TALKING/ONCE AGAIN’ from their anticipated album Vultures, expected to drop Friday (9th February). Directed by D’innocenzo Brothers, the music video features the dynamic father-daughter duo of both Ye and eldest daughter, North West and Ty Dolla Sign and his daughter, Jailynn.

North West, or “Miss Miss Westie” at age 10 has taken the spotlight with her debut into the music industry as a prominent feature on ‘Talking’. “I love it here / We gonna take over the year for another year” She raps in the music video whilst whispering into her father's ear, causing us to see the rare sight of a smiling Ye. With cinematographic shots of North getting her hair braided, she lip syncs with charismatic facial expressions “You don’t want no problems”, which is sampled from a cheerleading squad at Wilkes-Barre Area High School.
North’s verse exploded on the internet after being first heard at the Vultures listening party in Miami in December. Soon after, it became a viral TikTok sound with hundreds of thousands of videos posted under the song, with North herself racking up over 25.5 million views on a video of her and her bestie’s choreography to the earworm of a chorus “It’s your bestie Miss Miss Westie / Don’t try to test me / It’s gonna get messy, It’s gonna get messy / Just, just bless me”.
Ye’s Instagram previously teased a video of North as creative director, narrating a storyboard a potential music video for her verse in ‘Talking’. Images of the storyboard included basketball practice with friends, paparazzi, Nobu and Lamborghinis. Whether this is a vision that will come to life and be released is yet to be confirmed.
The Hip-hop duo Ye and Ty, or ‘¥$’, hosted an exclusive listening party of Vultures, Volume 1 at the UBS Arena on Thursday (February 8th), the album is set to be released to the public the following day.
