Young Thug and Future Reunite on 'Money on Money' Ahead of 'UY Scuti' Album

Young Thug has unveiled his thunderous single, "Money on Money," featuring longtime collaborator Future, marking his first solo release since his release from prison in late 2024. The track serves as the lead single for his forthcoming album, UY Scuti, slated for release in May 2025.

The accompanying music video, directed by Kaito and Brendan O'Connor, showcases the duo navigating a shipping yard in a luxury vehicle, interspersed with imagery of a burning Young Stoner Life logo. The visuals evoke comparisons to the iconic "Otis" video by Kanye West and Jay-Z, known for its display of opulence and industrial backdrops. The visual also weaves in a tongue-in-cheek nod to a viral clip of the two rappers from a few years back, where Future famously declared, “She belongs to the streets.”

UY Scuti, named after one of the largest known stars in the universe, represents Young Thug's return to the music scene following his legal challenges. The album is expected to feature collaborations with artists like 21 Savage, with production contributions from Metro Boomin.

"Money on Money" follows Young Thug's recent appearance on Lil Baby's track "Dum, Dumb, and Dumber," which also featured Future. With UY Scuti, Young Thug aims to reestablish his presence in the hip-hop world, offering fans a glimpse into his post-incarceration artistic vision.
