Everyone knows that Thursday is the new Friday. That's why we headed down to G-Shock's #BuiltDifferent event on the 20th of March to the neatly tucked-away hotspot The Steel Yard with a very special appearance from West London's very own Central Cee.

With the energy high on what was the warmest day of the year so far, the queue was buzzing with excitement to let loose at dusk. We ventured on into the venue and was greeted by an impressive space with lots of room to shake a leg and get involved in one of the many activities whilst enjoying the festivities. Passing the bar there was a trendy tooth gem station, pull up bar challenge, and even a graffiti wall. Moving into the larger room, we were quickly introduced to the booming speakers and flashing lights emulating a club atmosphere. Where there's G-Shock, there's always a good time.
After busting a few moves, the stage was graced by cultural commentator Rambo who hosted a panel talk with streetwear tastemaker Fempv and founder of LatyasArt, Latya Bennett and watch enthusiasts to dissect the G-Shock brand. The night moved towards a handful of live performances from international artists KwamE, MV Killa, Theodora and Frenna, and sets from DJs in the London underground circuit - Ella DHC, Jeeniius and Aychibs who were all warmly welcomed.
As the night started to draw to a close but the energy still high, rapper Central Cee took to the stage to perform some of his biggest tracks to finish the night off: 'UK Rap', 'Sprinter' and 'BAND4BAND'. As Central Cee was last year announced as the European brand ambassador for G-Shock, he's had an exciting run so far as this comes off the back of his debut album 'Can't Rush Greatness' and leading towards his tour.
