West-London’s Finn Foxell Begins A New Era with ‘Alive’

After a short break from dropping new music, Finn Foxell marks the beginning of his new chapter with the release of sun-soaked single ‘Alive’

Having experimented with his sound over the last couple of years, Finn Foxell seems as though he’s ready to reach new heights with his music. He manages to bridge London’s rap and alternative scenes to perfection, arriving at something wholeheartedly genre-less. Newly-released ‘Alive’ is a prime example of this.

Dom Valentino’s production lays a bed of bright guitar and moving percussion, joined with Finn’s unique vocals and the results are exquisite. Lyrically Finn showcases some inwards questioning of his philosophies on the world. This merges with discussion of his lived experience, particularly in regard to his family and friends. The song’s video reflects this excellently, with features in the video from fellow Elevation Meditation members Louis Culture and P-rallel.

Rumours of a new Finn Foxell project this summer are hugely exciting, particularly given this early taste of what’s coming. Finn seems poised to pounce, and has all the potential to earn a spot on the top table of UK music.
