Wayne Snow Makes A Return With New Album Figurine

Three years in the making Nigerian born, Berlin Based Neo-Soul artist Wayne Snow releases his newest dynamic and artistic album Figurine via Roche Musique.

Standing as a 10-track album Figurine is a refreshing conceptual and personalised body of work that focuses on depth and reflection. Written across Berlin & Paris, the album is inspired as much by nature and the work of social psychologist Erich Fromm as the music of Fela Kuti and King Sunny Ade.

Additionally, Snow delves into critically considers humanity’s obsession with masks and our creation of avatars whilst eloquently incorporating elements of Neo-Soul, Alt-Pop, R&B, Soultronica with hints of Jazz throughout. With the mesmerising visuals provided by Travys Owen, the short films pay homage to Afrofuturism shot across Tankwa Karoo National Park, Johannesburg and Cape Town as the videos highlight and embrace the vibrancy and beauty of his Wayne Snow's home.
