Danish stylist Veneda Carter collaborated with Timberland in 2022 to create a pair of 6-inch patent leather boots, a rework of the iconic original product by the brand. Carter has previously stated how her values match Timberland’s, “I feel like I can resonate with the brand and that’s why I have a love for the company”.

This collaboration allowed females within youth culture to connect with Veneda as a stylist and mogul for Timberland which opened up a new audience for the brand to be introduced to. It was an opportunity for the campaign to target a market that Veneda’s following has come from as recognition for her work with Kanye West as a stylist. The original collaboration sold out and has been nothing short of a hustle to get your hands on since their release with second and third-party retailers selling out too.
The classic Yellow Boot style that first arrived in fashion in 1973 has been re-modeled by Veneda Carter with a black patent leather covering. The sturdy material and durability remain within the updated product, the glossy effect elevates the original boot and has an added silver and black tag attached to the lace hole with the collaborator's name embossed.
A statement in hip-hop culture and recently worn by Drake, the streetwear item has been made even more durable through this design. Extremely well manufactured and produced, the eco-conscious brand has created a pair of boots directed at youth culture by collaborating with a female figure that holds all of these factors combined. The LA-based stylist has hinted at restocks and teased the exclusive pairs of 6-inch boots in a black colourway through social posts, leaving fans and consumers wondering when we can grab our hands on the new 'Glazed Yuttas’.
