Bearing the success from last year's album, to hell with it, and claiming the title of being BBC's Sound of 2022, PinkPantheress has unveiled emotions out of us like never before. With her musical talent, she makes you picture yourself on a bus home, plundered within nostalgia - Allowing the true sentiment of what it feels like to grow up in the 2000s or late noughties. One could even describe her unique music variety as soundtracks to their youth. Speaking on the track, PinkPantheress states, "I had a lot of fun writing this song. It took loads of attempts to get it right but this is probably my proudest work to date, and I’m super happy for everyone to hear it." Affirming her dedication towards the industry, we listeners indulge in the blend of WILLOW's melancholic sound with PinkPantheress' heavenly tone and lulls that are accompanied with electric pop rock guitar strums.

Focused on heartbreak, we listeners relate with the toxic complexity of emotions and the crave for that person’s love and attention. We learn the undenying yet prevailing want of letting go, whilst entering the mindset of a young adult through the songstresses’ lyrics. They both express saddened internal conflict, even with dreams of wanting to be with someone else...affecting them on an unconscious and conscious level.

The music video below exudes the contrast between the vibrancy within the club, but also the estranged sadness that can engulf an individual. It fits the theme flawlessly - with its assembly of fluorescent lights, aesthetic visuals and cutting edge photography all directed by BRTHR.
