The Purist and Sonnyjim Collaborate On 'Barz Simpson' featuring MF DOOM and Jay Electronica

London based mc and producer Sonnyjim has joined forces with The Purist on their latest track 'Barz Simpson' that is jam-packed with a sinister beat and hard-hitting bars. The new single comes from their new joint album White Girl Wasted that will be filled with features including Madlib, DJ Premier and Cult Mountain members Milkaveli and Lee Scott.

With The Purist and Sonnyjim matching each others energy on this steadily flowing track, they initially sent the track to MF DOOM who sent back a full verse within a few days. With Sonny recording his verse in one take, there's no doubt the creative chemistry the duo have. As the Purist has been the mind behind some of Action Bronson's, Danny Brown's, CASisDEAD's, Freddie Gibbs's and Roc Marci's tracks to name a few, he has blossomed with his label Daupe! that has grown a die-hard cult following with his releases crashing Bandcamp by his fans.

On an endless roll, Sonnyjim continues his 10-year rap career having worked with the likes of Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, Lord Apex and more.
