For a second year in a row T-Live festival (formally Titan Festival) returned to Copthall Playing Field in North West London for a vibrant day that celebrated R’n’B artists both past and present.

However, if you wanted to hear something other than R’n’B, there were other stages dedicated to genres like Ampiano, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, and Desi sounds. To set the scene the queue went around the whole park with eager music fans waiting to enter the festival, once inside the main stage was going off with classic old-school anthems, courtesy of selectors like DJ Silk, and duo Chuckie & Tazer who shut down the VIP stage last year.
Transitioning from everything R’n’B to something a little more uptempo is the Dankie Sounds stage which literally transported fans of the genre straight to one of their infamous Amapiano events, DJ Lag, Nicky Summers, and Terminal 4 are just some of the DJs that got the crowd going. Signs that read ‘Dankie Sounds to The World’ and ‘My Bags Are Packed For Ibiza’ were held by dancers, ahead of their Ibiza event next month.
Flying the flag for the UK was the everything R’n’B stage, which truly was everything when it came to hand-picking some of the most talented musicians we have, including Tiana Major 9, Miraa May, Amaria BB, Kadeem Tyrell, Jaz Karis, and many more. It wouldn’t be a UK R’n’B stage without those who advocate for the genre including DJ Ace, Nadia Jae, Relik Tha Don and Smooth Fuego.
The main attraction to the T-Live festival was its all-star lineup with acts like Fabulous, who performed his well-known hits like ‘Can’t Let You Go’ and I’m ‘So Into You’ (By Tamia), Ma$e who performed a medley of tracks, Sunshine Anderson who performed her breakout hit ‘Heard It All Before’ and Trey Songz who closed the show with some of his classic records.
T-Live is an energetic music festival for all, having secured some of the biggest artists in the world with just two years in the game it’ll be interesting to see how the North London-based festival tops itself next year!
