Sonny Fodera and Clementine Douglas Link Up Together Once More for Hypnotising Collab ‘Tell Me’

Australian-born, British-based electronic mastermind Sonny Fodera has once again tapped in Clementine Douglas for his latest release ‘Tell Me’.

As both artists have recognised, they have a special chemistry when it comes to making undeniable dancefloor anthems, so it is not surprising they have decided to continue their winning formula as this is now their third track together, following up from ‘Angel’ and ‘Asking’. The latter went on to chart in the top 10 in the UK and has since been certified platinum.

Sonny was recently nominated for Song of the Year at this year’s upcoming BRIT Awards for his track ‘Somedays’, alongside Jazzy and D.O.D, as well as picking up a recent Radio 1 Dance nomination for the same song. Clementine Douglas also picked up a nomination as Best Dance Vocalist.

Clementine has once again proved that she has a raw quality and tone to her voice that can slice through any track. Her rich and vulnerable plea of “Will you still love me” complements the rich textures of Sonny’s fleshed-out production to create a hypnotising effect making the listener feel they are being taken on a journey of self-reflection that is easy to get lost in.

A rapid drum pattern, pulsating production backdrop and layered vocals on the chorus give Clementine’s voice an almost choral effect, intensifying the words she is singing. This song is an aching request for validation and stability within a relationship. Very fitting if you are looking for clarity with that special someone for Valentines Day.

However, if you are looking to hit the clubs this weekend, instead of going on a hot date, then hopefully the DJ will have you covered by playing this full volume.

This recent release also comes with the news that Sonny will commence his debut residency at Pacha in Ibiza for this season, taking place from 16th June to 6th October.
