Over the course of the weekend "Society.Exclusive held a two day event at Proud Galleries in London. The weekend consisted of both a private viewing of their latest exhibition as well as a live performance on the Sunday evening. The event was a space for young artists in London to gather in collaboration and celebration of creativity. The exhibition features the works of a variety of emerging painters, photographers, DJ's and contemporary artists based in London.

The idea behind “Contemporary Tones,” comes from a basic understanding of tones and how they resonate with us. Tones can create emotions, set a mood, shape an atmosphere, or even influence the way two people communicate. The collaborative exhibition is meant to explore the different tones that art can convey when you first encounter it. The artworks are designed to reflect as many tones as possible, showing that art can carry multiple layers of meaning.
It was important that the curation of the space was multi-disciplinary and consisted of a variety of narratives. Whether it's through colours, sounds, patterns, photography, lighting, or storytelling, each piece offers something unique for viewers and the artists alike. With viewers live drawing the artworks around the space infused with music. A feeling of community was brought to Proud Galleries, a legendary hub of pop culture photography.
The aim of their event was to provide young creatives with the opportunity to pursue what they love. Providing platforms for creatives to showcase their work is a fundamental part of their brands mission. This is particularly important at a time where accessibility and resources for young creatives, can come at a high cost. "Society.Exclusive are deeply committed to building community and creating unique experiences for their audiences. We look forward to watching this exciting platform emerge and continue to facilitate and promote young artists and their work.
