Shaé Universe Releases New Single 'What's Luv' And Announces New Project

UK R&B Queen Shaé Universe is set to release her highly anticipated project Love Letters on Valentine’s Day which is set to be a 10 timeless tracks that explores the themes of love for every phase of your life. The track “What’s Luv” which was released with the announcement has a mixture of breezy guitar licks and her silky old school vocals which  explores the themes of people who have lost themselves in love and how ultimately, you have to be the one to love yourself before anybody else. This announcement follows the success of her 2023 Summertime - a COLORS show, promising to make her mark in the music industry in 2024.  

Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, Shaé Universe has made huge success in the UK; West Africa and beyond by making music that connects to everybody and is uniquely her. She is an artist that can sing and rap and has been co-signed by the likes of Lalah Hathaway, Jorja Smith, Little Simz and throughout the process has remained independent.  

Shaé said: “’What’s Luv’ is for anyone who’s ever lost themselves in love. People who love hard and passionately can often forget that ultimately, no one can pour into them more than themselves. I wrote this song a a reminder of that. Love people, love life, love love but also ensure you love yourself enough.”
