Sam Wise and Tiggs Da Author Bounce Off Each Other in Funk Infused ‘Twinning’

UK rapper Sam Wise has been at the forefront of avant-garde British Hip-Hop for several years, earning his stripes as a solo artist as well as being an integral member of rap collective House of Pharaohs.

Hot off the success of his previous solo project Chasing Paradise released back in July, comes Wise's latest effort which sees a return to his Lo-fi sound that launched him onto the scene.

His latest single ‘Twinning’ sees him link-up with Tiggs Da Author, who is renowned in the industry for crafting some of the most infectious hooks for artists such as Nines and Fredo. The track sees them bounce off each other in this funk infused anthem. Bursting with charisma, both artists inject their individual flair to the production, perfectly fusing to create a playful and powerful collaboration that is impossible to resist.

‘Twinning’ sees both artists go back-to-back in a larger-than-life video directed by Taz Tron Delix (J Hus, Joy Crookes, Rag'N'Bone Man), and bodaciosuly brag about their respective lifestyles and seeing similarities, thus ‘twinning’. The flute accompaniment in the background creates an extra intensity to the psychedelic theme of the video, further immersing the audience into their world.

Both Sam and Tiggs have once again proved to be innovators in the UK landscape, with this release being an intentional effort to reach a broader audience, without letting go of the charm that makes them the artists they are.

Coming off the back of supporting US rapper Vince Staples on his UK tour. Sam is gearing his audience up for his future project expected for release next year.
