Rising Artist LULU. Shines on New Single, 'Let Go'

Hailing from south-London, the 21-year-old singer/songwriter has quickly been turning heads since beginning her journey of releasing music in 2023. With her latest single, ‘Let Go’, she exhibits the fantastic results of her blended approach to song-writing. Combining elements of Soul and Afrobeats, ‘Let Go’ showcases the undeniable talent of a young singer that is full of potential.

In the single, LULU. discusses her relationship with God, and how, even in her toughest times, he never let go of her. A powerful message, that is delivered here with sumptuously smooth vocals. Despite being relatively new to releasing music, LULU. seems to have cracked the perpetually difficult task of creating songs that resonate with a large audience.

Speaking on this new single, LULU. explained, “Let Go describes the unconditional love I discovered within my faith. While navigating difficult relationships, love felt like something I had to work for, fuelled by a pride that made me believe I was better off alone. I grew weary of my own company. Despite neglecting my Bible, I came to realise that although I pushed God away, he remained present through friends and family, never letting go of me.”

'Let Go’, along with the previously released ‘Yesterday’s’ and ‘Save me’, have all been met with jubilant response. This is a highly positive sign for the upcoming project they are all a part of. Her debut EP, Dear Disoriented Soul, has just been announced, with release via AMF records on May 15th. With the quality of the singles released thus far, it's safe to assume this body of work will solidify LULU.'s name as a stand-out talent amongst her contemporaries.
