RINSE FM ANNOUNCES 140 NEW RESIDENTS TO THE STATION FOR SPRING/SUMMER 23

Rinse FM is East London at its core and its influence is far-reaching, continuing to shape UK culture and the diaspora for over 25 years since 94.

Without the once pirate radio station and now record label/ legitimate radio station, we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the likes of Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Lethal Bizzle and Kano, resulting in our music scene looking and sounding very different to what has been manifested today.

Now once again they have demonstrated that their reach is long enough to cross borders and build relationships with Europe.

They have strengthened their very own French connection by announcing a programme that allows over 140 new residents to the iconic station as they continue to carve a space for the most thrilling underground sounds.

The programme supports the culture by updating the programme by adding 140 new artists and label residents across the UK and France.

The founder of Rinse FM, Geeneus speaking on the latest update says: “As we start to exit winter, it’s time again to announce our new residents for spring/summer 23. The team have again been working hard behind the scenes to announce our biggest programming update ever.

A massive lineup of 140 new artists joining the current roster across Rinse UK and France. It is an unbelievable lineup of talent that is at the forefront of the underground. We can’t wait to help showcase their talent from London and Paris to the world.”

Championing underground sounds and the authentic experience, their trailer shot and directed by the Rinse internal creative team documents the streets of East London and Paris, detailing the stations, artists, label and their HQ.

After joining the station Jacques Greene says: “From listening to Rinse FM over the internet in Canada years ago, to being able to jump into the actual studio for a couple of shows over the years - Rinse holds a mythical place in my heart. Finally starting a residency feel like a bucket list item”

Scheduled this year is a list of new shows that include the participation of residents I.Jordan, LCY, Skin On Skin, Kim Turnbull and Nine8 Collective to name a few.
