Ricci Queens Shares Visuals For 'Been Isolating' Featuring La Swave

The East London-raised rapper and fashion trailblazer returns with a movie quality music video for his second single of the year titled Been Isolating joined by fellow London rapper La Swave.

Having been released two months ago, the single hears Ricci Queens rhythmic flow as he speak on his independent and lonesome character, whilst being surrounded by people he chooses not to associate himself with. Accompanied by La Swave's melodic sound, the two artists display a fun but isolated atmosphere in the seemingly quiet London setting.

With a cold colour palette, the spacious lockdown conscious visuals directed by the rapper's long time friend Mike Ice show continuity by reflecting the songs lyrics.

Speaking on the music video the director has said, "An isolated figure in Ricci, confronts the idea of mixing with 'the fakes'." Additionally, "The barren space provided by these unused locations paired with shots of an unusually still London city can be used to creatively show that journey made between both artists before Swave's arrival for the second verse."
