PFW Lemaire AW25: A Study in Quiet Sophistication

Lemaire’s A/W 25/26 collection embodied an effortless harmony of function and elegance. Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran crafted a co-ed lineup that celebrated the beauty of simplicity, focusing on clothes designed to adapt seamlessly to everyday life without losing their refined charm.

The collection featured flowing silhouettes and relaxed tailoring, with oversized coats, soft wool trousers, and minimalist trench coats leading the way. Every piece struck a balance between structure and movement, creating looks that felt both polished and approachable. The layering of lightweight parkas with tailored pieces added a subtle utilitarian edge without overshadowing the collection’s inherent sophistication.

Colour played a quiet yet impactful role, with shades like cobalt, iron, and muted indigo complementing earthy neutrals. Accessories stood out as thoughtful details—functional yet artistic—with sculptural bags and magnifying glass necklaces adding a touch of playfulness to the otherwise restrained aesthetic.

Lemaire’s designs have always championed versatility, and this collection was no exception. Each garment felt like an invitation to the wearer to make it their own, emphasizing individuality over fleeting trends. It was clothing created with purpose, made to fit into real life yet carry an understated elegance.
