PFW Kenzo AW25: The Commute Redefined

Kenzo’s A/W 2025 show transformed Paris Fashion Week into a journey of style, imagination, and cultural exchange. Titled “The Kenzo Commute,” the collection drew inspiration from the motion of travel—specifically a high-speed passage from Tokyo to Paris—while nodding to the brand’s iconic 1988 “Train Show.” Artistic Director Nigo brought a modern perspective to this concept, blending streetwear sensibilities with refined preppy aesthetics.

The collection struck a perfect balance between structure and spontaneity. Tailored blazers and clean-cut outerwear were paired with playful textures, bold patterns, and a distinctly youthful energy. The looks captured a seamless fusion of street-ready comfort and elevated style, ideal for both the everyday traveler and the city explorer.

Central to the collection was Nigo’s collaboration with American artist Futura 2000, whose graphics and imagery brought an urban dynamism to the designs. The partnership added a layer of creativity and personal connection, as their combined monikers—“2000” and “Ni-go”—symbolically reflected the collection’s contemporary focus.

Kenzo’s A/W 2025 collection is bridging different worlds and mixing past inspirations with a forward-looking attitude, Nigo created a collection that embodied movement, energy, and connection.
