One Love, A Night of Remembering Bob Marley At The World Premiere Exhibition

There’s not a place in the world that is not aware of the legacy of reggae artist, Bob Marley. But here, for ten weeks only, London’s Saatchi Gallery was filled with unseen photos, memorabilia, and original belongings of the late legend. In accordance with Terrapin Station Entertainment, the Marley family helped announce the global debut of the Bob Marley One Love Experience.

Audiences are immersed on a journey through Bob’s lifestyle, influences, family, music, and legacy. You will be able to pass through the One Love Forest; taking us deep into Jamaica and the backdrop to Bob Marley’s life, to Soul Shakedown Studio; a silent disco at the heart of the experience.

Once you enter the first room of six immersive experiences over two floors, you are greeted with music. All of Marley’s records, and even an original write-up of Turn Your Lights Down Low. An open and airy room with every musician's dream collectibles. However, if you are not a true fan of Marley, you may get lost in the history and journey of the Jamaican-born musician. So, do some research before you head out to help guide your way through as there is barely any information about the man himself.

Leading into the room taking you back to the heart of where it started; Jamaica. The room itself was dimly lit, filled with synthetic grass, hardly a Jamaican experience but filled with stunning canvases of Bob. Each picture tells a story of who the man behind One Love really is. Each room reflects the legacy and loves of a man who left catalogues of music still loved today.

The exhibition comes after the huge success of The Bob Marley Musical, Get Up, Stand Up at London’s Lyric Theatre. Which further reflects on the life and legacy of Bob using the most enthralling and eerie look-a-likes to present why the women in his life were crucial to his story.

The exhibition is from 2 February – to 18 April 2022 from the hours;

10am – 6pm, Monday - Sunday (last admission 5.00pm).
