OFF WHITE FW19 Documentary 'West Village'

2018 has been an eventful year for the Off White Creative Director Virgil Abloh. From his SS19 Mens Collection with Louis Vuitton, to his Art installations with Tekashi Murakami and of course his various releases in collaboration with Nike for his Ten Collection Vigril is back to bring us more information about his design process for is Fall/Winter 19 Collection Titled 'West Village'.

In This documentary we see Virgil work closely with his team on a rage on apparel, scaling from graphic T Shirts to couture dresses with elaborate fabrics. We see his team in thier manufacturing process, cutting and sewing garments as Models wait to be fitted and shot. It gives an interesting look into the eco system that is home to one of the most talked about brands in the world today.

During the documentary Virgil also explains his ideas behind the concepts of the collection as he prepares for its Paris runway debut. We see Virgil picking up a paintbrush, creating minimalist art based on his creative language of quotations on a wall canvas.

Models showcases clothing made of bespoke Off White Patterns that tie into the Collections theme with very floral and plant based prints.

Virgil does all of this with his team while listening to sounds from artists such as Travis Scott, The Migos, Lil Baby, Iamddb and more. A compelling behind the scenes view of the collections processes.
