Ocean Wisdom Links Up With K Koke On New Single ‘No Squids’

Now at peace with himself, Ocean Wisdom releases his latest single ‘No Squids’ featuring fellow North West London’s K Koke, which is a reflection of the past and a nod to the present.

Ocean Wisdom glides over the production, undertones of strings and percussive elements providing an atmospheric presence, heightening the feel.

“Can’t do road up, you got to change” he pleads in one of his verses, which is a cry to himself and the younger generation about life choices and a recognition of the need to break a harsh circle. He expresses his discontentment with the current crop of rappers, whilst enjoying his newfound clarity and direction.

Hearing K Koke on the track is nostalgic, however, in his deliverance of his lyrics holds the same power and vulnerability as we meet him where he is now. He raps about how he got here, and what to look forward to.

The single is released via Ocean Wisdom's own label Beyond Measure Records and distributed by Believe. The single will also appear in the rapper's upcoming album Fight Club.
