NOTION Announces ‘FORWARDS’ Mixtape With New Single ‘FEEL LIKE ME’

Experimenting with different electronic sounds, DJ and Producer NOTION find expression in his latest single ‘FEEL LIKE ME’.

Meeting yourself where you are, ‘FEEL LIKE ME’ is all about reconnecting with your past self, in an attempt to engage with the familiar and with the nostalgic despite life’s resistance.

However, the production is all forward-thinking. Innovative NOTION experiments with contrasting elements of garage, house, breaks, jungle and electronica to create something that is in the deepest sense for the rave as we are uplifted and brought back down.

“Don’t feel like the old me, she pushes and pulls me," the distorted vocalist croons soulfully against the rising synths before the bass and bassline storms through.

Speaking about his latest single, NOTION says: “I wanted ‘FEEL LIKE ME’ to be a club tune that's not for the club if that makes sense - it was kind of an attempt to tie up all my different dance music influences into something a bit more personal to me while still keeping those foundations. I'm super happy to finally be putting it out into the world anyway and I hope you like it!”

To sum up, his summer so far NOTION made his debut at Glastonbury and is set to release his upcoming mixtape FORWARDS on 30th August, a follow-up to OUTSIDER released in 2022.

The Bristol native is also scheduled to go on part two of the US and CA tour, which includes performing in places like HARD Summer in Los Angeles, Elsewhere in New York and Chasing Summer Festival in Calgary, Canada.
