New Approach To Modern Classic Has Arrived: Libero's SS21 Capsule Collection "Sulla Terrazza"

It is a time to stop, stare and take it all in with a refreshing approach of what is more to come for this year’s summer season. Today, the launch of Ontario-Toronto’s finest luxury apparel brand Libero has officially arrived and taken centre stage by unveiling their SS21 capsule collection called Sulla Terrazza.

The collection arrival has come at a great time of the season, a definitive selection of pieces perfect for comfortability and outdoor social hangouts that give out an elegant finish to each piece.

Created by native Italian Canadian Adam Appugliesi has introduced us to a combination of the two sides of the continent – Europe and North America before our very eyes. The collection embodies a clean-cut luxury blend of excellent quality and classic clothing that any consumer will feel privileged to have a part of their wardrobe.

The art of Minimalism takes on a role within this collection as it shows the consumers that each garment made has a purpose. The capsule collection brings a hint of Italian inspiration, shining a light on classic hand-crafted pieces created with love by Appugliesi’s grandmother Michelina. For this collection, the creative designer focused his vision on re-creating handcrafted pieces, particularly emphasizing the aesthetic of expressing individuality and represent a new age of modern classic design.

Libero follows a brand value in believing that when a person wears a piece of clothing on their back, this is their first words before any introduction is needed. Really and truthfully, the whole package of the Libero brand and the flawless announcement of the cultivated and elegant SS21 capsule collection release today is here to express their talent for design. To make a statement through their pieces by presenting the beauty of two cultures meeting and impressively joining forces to produce and embody well-made leading high-quality modern pieces.

Capsule collections are about looking at key looks that display a functional and commercial viewpoint. In this case, for Appugliesi’s vision, he wanted to provide his consumers with a sense of luxury of what is more to come, a time where we can step into the Libero world. He has chosen to keep things small and precise but at the same time striking to the eye.

The collection consists of six streamlined yet classic silhouettes in colours such as olive green, light beige, and sky-blue shades in the “La Restituta” Button-Up Shirt, the “La Sera” Vest and Shorts (made from 100% Japanese cotton seersucker), the “La Spiaggia” Polo (100% Italian linen), the “Sulla Terrazza” t-shirt, and the Libero family Heirloom pinky ring.

With Appugliesi’s vision and his grandmother’s extensive experience spanning 50 years as a seamstress living in Canada and her impressive attention to detail, they have both absorbed their two cultures together in the best way they know-how. Exploding onto the fashion scene with a burst of design technique, they were able to bring the SS21 Sulla Terrazza capsule collection to reality for all to see and admire.

Even though the current situation is a little bit daunting, we have the perfect staple essentials of Mediterranean quality and North American influence to enlighten us on our during the Spring-Summer season.
