Mura Masa Unveils The Highly Anticipated 'Demon Time' Album

Today, Grammy-winner Mura Masa has revealed his latest studio album demon time which sees a range of features including PinkPantheress, Lil Uzi Vert, Slowthai and more. With his track 'blessing me' featuring Pa Salieu and Skillibeng going viral over the summer, demon time is a delve into the wonderfully playful and chaotic world that Mura Masa lives in.

For a while, demon time had the working title of Fun, with Mura Masa predicting people would need “vicarious, escapist music now." he mentioned "So that's where this demon time idea came from – how do we soundtrack the 1am to 5am period where you start doing stupid shit that you don't regret but wouldn't do again when it emerges again post-lockdown?”

From its whispered introduction – “it’s demon time” – to its messy finish, demon time is a jump into the deep end of the unknowns of the night that blurs the lines between the producer and artist dynamic. As he encourages us to get out there and just have fun, demon time is a true meaning of what it means to be mischievous and to worry about the consequences later.
