Mahalia Debuts New Single 'Ready' Ahead Of Her Second Album Release

Just one week before the release of her eagerly awaited second album, 'IRL,' British sensation Mahalia debuted her brand-new track, 'Ready.'

Following the release of her previous album singles 'Terms & Conditions' and 'Cheat' featuring JoJo, 'Ready' is a declaration of intent letting people know she's ready for anything her career and the industry throws at her. Mahalia also had long-time creative collaborator Oli Kane create stunning black and white accompanying visuals for the single.

With an addictive baseline and stunning vocals 'Ready' is truly the best way Mahalia could have started her second album. With the recurring theme of reflection in the lyrics that makes this track so relatable it can only be expected that the rest of the album will follow suit. Mahalia hinted at the album reflecting a period of significant personal growth.

“Ready is the intro on my album. It is a song that perfectly describes where I was at when I started writing this record.” Mahalia says of the track.

Mahalia also announced a massive UK and European Tour for the end of 2023 in addition to her forthcoming new album. The 'In Real Life Tour' kicks off on October 8 in Leeds and goes through November 7 in Berlin. On October 19, the famous Eventim Apollo (previously known as the Hammersmith Apollo) in London will be visited as part of the UK leg.
