Louis Culture Shares Visuals For Low-Key Banger 'Dream'

Rising rapper and Elevation/Meditation member Louis Culture shares his latest single.

South West London spitter Louis Culture is back.

Often exercising the "quality over quantity" approach throughout his music, 'Dream' is a welcome contrast to his last lo-fi-tinged single 'Naked'. Armed with a beat by frequent collaborator Pullen, 'Dream' is a tour de force of whizzing, heady bars and punchy trap-flavoured riddims. Like his previous banger 'Part 2' before it, the 23-year-old rapper laces 'Dream' with his in your face, yet measured charisma and introspection, merging into a one-of-a-kind musical auditorium.

The accompanying visuals for 'Dream'—directed by Jay Russell—capture the titular rhymer's "controlled chaos" calling card. Culture can be seen traversing through therapy sessions, beachfront sands and arcade slot machines. Shot with a chalky colour palette and a cinematic vigour, the visuals bring the track to life, further fleshing out the three-minute banger's overall narrative.

With last year's 'Smile Soundsystem' project already touted as a fan favourite by UK rap fans, all eyes are cast on what Culture will do next. If his latest output and 'Dream' are anything to go off, we're in for a treat.
