Returning to London for the first time in 6 years, 6LACK’s ‘Since I Have a Lover’ Tour sold out the city’s Eventim Apollo theatre. In what felt like an intimate performance despite the theatre's grand scale, the artist's homegrown finesse transcended confidence as he intently moves closer to resolve. Turning Sunday’s packed 5000-person venue into a gathering of old friends, his comfort on stage persisted as he eased through his anthems of before, challenging even the most dedicated of patrons to sing the lyrics.

Delivering each song with emotional depth and authenticity is the expectation that has carried the artist in his unwavering accession. And somewhat a rare commodity for many, 6LACK has this in abundance - remaining grounded through his eminent transition. Beyond moments of heartfelt interactions and shared anecdotes, the crowd rose to the occasion; fervently belting every word with emotion - a testament to the connection 6LACK has with his fans and even the power of his music to resonate on a deeply personal level with his listeners.

Recently deviating from his usual soundscape - noted on the tour’s 2023 namesake album, the artist flexed his dexterity in his set-list. Coasting through his various eras; his live backing expertly remixing his fusion rap-ballads, with the artist even taking a moment to show the audience his current pursuit of learning how to play the guitar.

His soulful vocals and thought-provoking lays culminate for a magnetic performance. In a combination of sincerity and aptness, 6LACK’s ‘ Since I Have a Lover Tour’ is a must-see for fans, leaving a lasting impression long after the lights are dimmed.
