LFW AW24: CHET LO

Chet Lo's AW24 collection showcased a stunning array of garments that spoke volumes about strength and resilience. Inspired by the Terracotta Army, each piece embodied the essence of transformation and endurance.

The show opened with a dramatic flair, setting the stage for Lo's vision to unfold. A tweedy crop top and trousers adorned with a crimson snakeskin print captured the rugged beauty of weathered surfaces, while metallic tears added a touch of drama, symbolising the cracks and crevices of life's journey.

Amidst Lo's signature style of spikes and spikes, the collection featured elegant pieces crafted from feather-light metallic knit lace, draping gracefully over figures with a blend of style and practicality reminiscent of beloved Issey Miyake designs.

Diaphanous knit gowns floated down the runway, delicate laddering details adding an ethereal touch to each ensemble. The grand finale brought forth a gown adorned with hand-sewn metal dragon scales, paying homage to ancient Chinese armour, with a modern twist in the form of a cheeky bumster cut at the back.
