Lancey Foux Release’s Highly Anticipated Track ‘Cooler Than Me’ And Two Music Videos

After starving his fans of music for the last few months, modern day rockstar and East London resident, Lancey Foux has returned with a highly anticipated track titled ‘Cooler Than Me’ as well as 2 new visuals and songs released directly to his Youtube page. Cooler Than Me is an up-tempo bop where both the visuals and song carry elements of an old school video game, through colours and sound effects. Earlier last month the musician teased the release of ‘Cooler Than Me’ on TikTok, which immediately got the attention of thousands who shared their support through likes and eager comments.

Rapper, creator, and style icon Lancey Foux has already stunned fans by selling out shows at places such as Village Underground and received positively acclaimed opinions for his 2019 project ‘FRIEND OR FOUX’, amongst this sold out shows and popular album releases, Lancey has also received recognition from the likes of Skepta and Earl Sweatshirt who we all know have received worldwide success. Aside from being recognised by multiple artist Lancey has also collaborated with a variety of people including Lil Yachty, Skepta, Santino Le Saint and many more.

The release of ‘Cooler Than Me’ has come in good timing as lineups for multiple festivals have just been announced and Lancey Foux is amongst the many UK artist who will be performing. Some of the festivals include Rolling Loud Festival in both Portugal and the US, Amsterdam-based festival Woo Hah, Wireless Festival, and many more. Although Lancey Foux has been making music for almost 6 years it seems this is the year he is destined for big things.

The other releases come spontaneously in typical Lancey fashion. The Newham-based Rapper feeds his fanbase with two short songs that he also teased recently, taking things back to his usual motif of run and gun visuals. The song 'Comeon' documents Lancey's journey in Lagos, Nigeria, where he performed to an energetic crowd. This visual acts as a mix of a music video and Vlog as we see Lancey traveling through the city while rapping about reaping the benefits slowly of his craft and being in his zone.

The second offering is a slightly more energetic visual shot at ForeverGood space in London. The space is a hub for creative talents and Lancey highlights this by featuring artist Slawn in the visual as he creates his art pieces as Lancey performs his song 'Al Capone'. Lancey proclaims that he is on a 'Mafia Tone', referring to the title of the song, also his mindset of being at the top of the food chain. Lancey goes on to speak about his past of pushing various forms of narcotics, as he governed the 'bando' - relating that to how Parlament governs the country. 'Al Capone' showcases Lancey's musical ambitiousness and unique sound that isn't comparable with anyone else in the UK music scene.
