Lagoon Wavey Unveils COLORS Performance for Single 'Occupied'

Hailing from Barbados, singer and songwriter Lagoon Wavey has made his debut onto the YouTube performance series COLORS with the single not only a teaser into Lagoon Wavey's next musical endeavours, but it also displays his remarkable vocal range in front of a stunning crimson backdrop. Fit with lethargic guitars and produced by longtime collaborator Leejo, 'Occupied' is a fresh sound that touches on love and relationships, as well as including classic island sounds.

Having first entered the music scene in 2020 by releasing a handful of tracks such as 'Aloe Vera', 'OD' and 'Confidential', he then went on to release his debut EP The Shore which revived glowing reviews as well as a co-sign from Jamz Supernova. With one of his biggest inspirations being fellow Bajan Rihanna but also The Weeknd as Lagoon is a huge fan, he is beginning to pave his way through the scene with unmatched talent as well as incorporating his Bajan heritage into everything he does.

As he strives to let his listeners relate to his personal experiences, 'Occupied' is an opportunity for us to reflect and touch into Lagoon Wavey's world.
