Kojey Radical continues his run of formidable new music for 2020 with his emotive, reflective and uplifting new single titled Same Boat, featuring Atlanta singer, songwriter and producer Mereba.
The East London polymath switches gears for a softer tone on the new cut, layered atop of a smooth, up-beat backdrop, Kojey Radical reflects on his accomplishments and blessings whilst touching on subjects of faith and depression with his charismatic tone. Matching the raspy, regal vocals of one-to-watch talent Mereba, the Atlanta singer-songwriter adds an extra layer of warmth to the slick sounding single. Speaking on the release, Kojey commented; “I like to think back on my journey through art and music and really consider who & what shaped me. I think there was no one more integral than my mother because she never restricted me. Even when she didn’t understand or agree. She gave me the recipe to continue.
