Kendrick Lamar Unveils The First Single of His New Album

'The Heart Part 5' was released in the early hours of the morning and accompanied with a visualiser.

Coming as his first single to followup his 2017 album DAMN., 'The Heart Part 5' is the next instalment of next highly anticipated album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers which is due to be released this Friday. As Lamar raps, his face morphs into a handful of different celebrities such as Kanye West, OJ Simpson, Will Smith, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle with his verses often aligning with the person he's changed into.

Produced by Beach Noise, 'The Heart Part 5' also features a sample from 'I Want You' by Marvin Gaye and is part of a series that Lamar has released through the years. With part one and two released in 2010, part three released in 2012 and part four in 2017.

With the wild visualised directed by himself and Dave Free using deepfake technology, Lamar raps in front of a red background and gives thanks to his family, friends and fans in he beginning of the video for sticking by him for all this time.

After seeing the explosive reaction to the surprise release with the YouTube video amassing 4.4 million views and counting within 8 hours, we think Kendrick Lamar might be releasing the AOTY.
