KeepVibesNear releases emotional rollercoaster single ‘In Your Eyes’ with alt-pop artist Jay Lewn. The emotive R&B song has low sung beats, a sultry baseline and soulful R&B which is a KeepVibesNear staple.
‘In Your Eyes’ is his third single from the integral Silhouettes Project member, which comes from his highly anticipated project ‘NOIR’ which is set to release on the 23rd February which will also features collaborations with Benny Banks and Gwadalean.
Whilst delivering R&B with electronic and jazzy tones, KeepVibesNear is a breath of fresh air as he routinely opens up about vulnerability, toxic masculinity and emotions to create a safe space for men to be open and honest about how they feel. Drawing inspiration from Tyler, The Creator, André 3000 and The Internet as notable influences, he has coined his sound to be 'Noir R&B'.
On the track KVN explains: “Sometimes your image of someone or expectations don’t match up with reality and I think that’s something everyone comes across at some point in life. Perception is an interesting thing and I guess this song is a conversation about trying to be that for someone as well as the fear of not being able to.”
