Coming as his first release of the year, London-based artist KeepVibesNear unveiled the fresh new single 'Late Night Drive' with musical duo Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn that evokes feelings of nostalgia as well as moulding KVN's vulnerable and emotive lyrics with Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn's electronic and experimental sound.
Produced by Harvey Gunn and Harvey Whyte, KVN mentioned that the song was more of a feeling for him: "I think of this as a story like a tale. It’s one of those songs that stuck out as special as soon as I had the idea. Late night drive with bae just hits the imagery perfectly really and I think when everyone hears this song it will just make you wanna go for a little cruise.“
By switching up the narrative within his music, KVN writes music in an effort to show off that men should be free to express themselves through their emotions as well as reject the ideologies of toxic masculinity. As he mentions Tyler The Creator, Andre 3000 and The Internet as his biggest inspirations, KVN is an invigorating breath of fresh air within the music scene.
