Today, Kaytranada releases his new EP ‘Intimidated’ out now via RCA Records, but the music he is producing shows he is anything but intimidated. Kaytranada is carrying on his fine musical form, and wholeheartedly proving his worth as an artist who is not afraid to flaunt his immaculate producing skills. ‘Intimidated’ is the first release from Kaytranada since he won the 2021 Grammy Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Album in "Bubba", and Best Dance Recording in "10%".
"Bubba" was the follow-up to Kaytranada’s breakout debut album "99.9%" and features the likes of Pharrell Williams, Tinashe, Kali Uchis, GoldLink, and many, many others. However, after sampling a little bit of what’s to come in the future from the Haitian-Canadian superstar producer through the "Intimidated" EP, you get the feeling he is about to supersede his previous two albums. Alongside his EP release, Kaytranada has also announced that he will be embarking on an enormous career-defining tour of North America. The superstar producer is one of the hottest sensations currently in the music industry.
Kaytranada’s latest EP is a 3-track project that features guest appearances from H.E.R. on "Intimidated", Thundercat on “Be Careful" and fellow Haitian artist Mach-Hommy who appears on “$payforhaiti” rapping in Creole. ‘Intimidated’ marks the second release from the prolific artist-producer this year, following his single ‘Caution’ released in February.
