Kanye West Finally Unveils The Highly Anticipated ‘DONDA’

Three listening parties later, hours of live-streams and a ton of outfit changes Hip Hop legend Kanye West finally released his latest studio album DONDA in homage to his late mother.

The album features a plethora of features ranging from Lil Baby, Playboi Carti, Baby Keem, Don Toliver, Pusha T, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk, and more. With a unique album roll out showing him play his music in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium as well as Chicago’s Soldier Field, West first displayed himself in an empty stadium with thousands of fans with what sounded like an unfinished project to his second live stream which sounded more fruitful and cohesive. His final live stream confused fans after he switched Jay-Z’s verse for DaBaby and removed Pusha-T and Kid Cudi. Finishing off with a huge replica of his childhood home and ‘wedding’ with ex-wife Kim Kardashian and dressed in full Balenciaga the album was thought to be delayed further.

With Donda scheduled to have been released after the very first listening event on the 22nd of July, it was postponed to the 6th of August. With the album unsurprisingly not appearing on platforms West moved into the Atlanta stadium to finish working on the album and streamed his progress as well as him meeting with collaborators and napping.

To our surprise DONDA finally came through and clocking in at 1hour and 48 minutes is looking to be the album of the year. The album at this time features no album cover after previously shown to be a painting by artist Louise Bourgeois.
