Kali Uchis Debuts Self-Directed Video For 'Telepatía'

Shot in her hometown of Pereira, Colombia, the visuals directed by the Grammy winning artist showcases Uchis’ Colombian roots for the viral hit entitled Telepatía.

Telepatía, which is currently number 2 in the Spotify global chart and with more than 131 million global streams is a single from last year's Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞ which is her first Spanish-language album.

Speaking on the single and video on instagram Uchis said: “The song happened so naturally & I wanted the video to reflect that, kids & animals in the street, all improvisation, nothing overproduced or contrived, just the beautiful natural magic of the country I have had the honor of also calling home my entire life,”

Kali Uchis recently won her first Grammy for Best Dance Recording with Kaytranada '10%' at the 2021 Grammy awards is nominated for her first Latin American Music Award for Favorite Pop Album this year and is the only female nominated in the category!
