K Trap Weighs Up His Options On New Single 'Heaven or Hell'

Revisiting the intimate space occupied on fan favourite ‘Interlude’ the first release of the year for South London rapper K Trap ‘Heaven Or Hell’ is soft spoken and reflective.

Flowing over an sensuous and serenic instrumental that is produced by Nathaniel London, the beat is composed from rhythmic guitar melodies and layered with synths and percussion elements, it’s slow paced and allows you to really take in the story that K Trap is telling.

The independent rapper is caught in two minds, going back and forth delivering his verses with a typical personal feel as he contemplates the virtues of two distinctly different women and what he wants from them.

However a sampled recording of one of the women at the start and end of the track points out the hypocrisy of his behaviour which is explored at times in the song by K Trap.

Summing it up, he raps “My wife’s got a private page, my girls got an open one / always see negative posts I think she’s a broken one.”

The accompanying music video, produced by Don Prod is creatively shot to reflect the lyrism as we witness K Trap’s behaviour and actions in two parallel rooms with each of the girls, providing an insight into two different situations.
