K-Trap Releases Highly Anticipated Mixtape 'The Last Whip II'

K-Trap takes us back to his hunger-driven and survival-mode roots through the follow-up of his debut mixtape The Last Whip... Spoiling us with The Last Whip II

The London MC swiftly showcases his growth and compelling penmanship throughout the 19-track project, delivered through different styles and sounds joined by complimentary features with the likes of Headie One, Odeal, M Huncho & UK Drill veterans; LD and Reekz MB, just to name a few.

The Trap rapper continues to prove that he is one to watch and not to let him out of our sight, especially our playlists. The success of his 2021 project Trapo undeniably stamped K-Trap as one of the hottest and hardest rappers in the UK's music scene with songs such as 'Maths' (ft DoRoad) and 'Warm', now classified as one of the UK's anthems, rapidly taking over the scene. His consistency was again presented to us with the collaborative mixtape Joints with renowned UK rapper, Blade Brown.

The Last Whip II is a fiery yet championing mixtape which honestly sets K-Trap apart from many other artists in the current scene. Songs like 'Interlude' and 'Major Scrape' (ft S Loud), both produced by Nathanial London, a notable producer in the game and one of K-Trap's go-to producers, drift us away from the MC's common rap-drill songs. The rapper taps into his soft side on 'Interlude' where he gushes over his love life, and somewhat materialistic attributes. Whereas 'Major Scrape' elevates K-Trap's skills with cold wordplay over an exciting drill-distorted sound accompanied by S Loud.

However, the project still captures the London rapper's iconic flows led by hardcore rhythms and style, as heard on 'Who Wanna' with Krept & Konan and the M1onTheBeat produced track 'Extra Sleeve' featuring London's King of Drill, Headie One. His collaboration with rappers LD, Youngs Teflon & Reekz MB reinforces their impact on UK drill and rap culture over the years as well as the triumphing path the rapper has created for himself.

K-Trap announced his UK tour a while ago, which is set to begin in November starting with Manchester and ending in London. Extra dates and new locations have since been added: https://www.ktrapofficial.com/
