Junglist Nia Archives Releases New Single ‘Off Wiv Ya Headz’

Recognised for her experimental remixes, she succeeded in reviving the jungle sound of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Released recently is 'Off Wiv Ya Headz' by Bradford-born Nia Archives.

Since her debut at WHP Manchester and recent festivals like Love Saves The Day and Primavera Sound, the DJ, Producer, and Songwriter's single, which was officially released on June 9th,

has been making its way into our summer playlists.

Before its official release, the song was firing up jungle raver's energy. More than ten years after the Yeah Yeah Yeah 'Heads Will Roll' A-Trak remix became a dance favourite, new-gen junglist Nia expertly reinvents the song by combining the timeless sounds of the 90s jungle scene.

Jungle music rose to prominence in the early ’90s, bringing its unique electronic sounds to dance floors across the world, since then, DJs like Nia Archives have been innovators in fostering a renewed love of the dance subgenre that emerged from the UK rave scene and the sound systems of the 1980s.

After the release of her EP ‘Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against The Wall’ in March as well as being the first opening act supporting Beyoncé on her Renaissance tour.  Off wiv ya headz is yet another success the artist adds to her roster.
