Jorja Smith Unveils Double A-Side Release With Soul-Infused Tracks ‘Loving You’ And ‘Don’t Let Me Go’



 

A distinct soulful vocalist and a stunning song-writer, British musician Jorja Smith returns with a double deep feeling offering in the form of ‘Loving You’ and ‘Don’t Let Me Go’.

 

The first one has been on a slow cooker for roughly ten years. Produced by Ed Thomas, and co-written Maverick Sabre, who also features on the song compliment it with his husk tone. ‘Loving You’ presents love as something that endures, even against logic and reasoning. The threat of is that when you fall for someone underserving which is what Jorja explores expertly.

 

Against deep emotive piano chords, Jorja sings “I can’t wash away your sweetest taboo/ and I’ve finally found myself / and I’m laid to the wreckage of you.”




 

Things however, run their course on the guitar based, ‘Don’t Let Me Go’. Produced by New Machine, Jorja - grieving a romantic relationship retreats inwards to her feelings as she searches for a way to get things back to the way they were with a former-partner who has moved down. The track shows how feelings linger even when the relationship dies

 

As well as a North America tour next year, Jorja has also announced a 'falling or flying' UK tour for 2025, that will see perform at the renowned O2 Apollo in Manchester and the Eventim Apollo in London.
