Jorja Smith is one of the most successful artists to come out of the West Midlands and has explored a variety of sounds over the years. Following on from her summer hit ‘Little Things’ and recent guitar-led single ‘GO GO GO, the singer-songwriter unveils her latest offering ‘Falling Or Flying’, a record that sees the songstress return to her soulful roots.
Her latest release is also accompanied by self-directed music video that alternate a variety of locations that resemble space, which has already racked up an impressive 1.7M views in 7 days. Speaking on her director debut, Jorja states that the idea behind the accompanying video “Came to mind ‘cause I always wanted to shoot a video in space... ‘Falling Or flying’ just made me think of that. I wanted to go up into space with someone I love and cherish, but they didn’t want to come with me.”
