Jaz Karis Opens Up With New Single 'Side Of You

Finding her voice from countless hours performing in the church choir singing gospel as a child, Jaz Karis retains the soulful quality of her voice that provides a rawness that allows us to feel every emotion she goes through.

And now Jaz with a sway and familiar lilt is at her best with her newest release ‘Side of You, produced by Emil, who is known to create soulful and Jazzy tones.

The sound fits Jaz’s style perfectly as the south London songstress lowers the mood with her sensuous and silky vocals as she sings with an honest approach sharing the details about the romantic situation, in which she finds herself in.

It’s about Jaz experiencing the side of her love interest that she wasn’t aware of and cautions both herself and him of the disastrous consequences if he continues his behaviour.

Jaz’s forthcoming EP Dear Jaz has been announced to drop on October 13th, the follow-up to All Eyes On You. The title of the new project suggests that Jaz will be taking an introspective approach as writes her very own open letter to herself.

Jazz is also headlining at Lafayette on October 30th.
