Jay Prince - Wonder EP

Jay Prince is an East London breed artist that oddly enough does not seem to be integrated into the UK music scene as much as some talents of his calibar. Coming off the success of his 'CHERISH' EP released in 2018, Jay Prince begins the year with another strong project that showcases his musical prowess and his melodic ability while telling relate-able stories threaded through his sound.

The project begins with the colourful vibe of 'RUN IT UP' that proceeds to take sonic chops and screws as the song comes to a climax with a HipHop/Rap outro. an excellent intro to the potent intentions of the project. In songs such as 'BEAMLIGHT' and 'BLESSED NOW' , Jay Prince showcases his intricate flow and a more uptempo and playful sound. The title track 'WONDER' is an ode to his journey and insecurities about going hard at his craft for such a long time and hoping all the work pays off, a very relate-able record that doesn't stand alone on this short but hard hitting project.

Jay Prince's vocal inflections and melodies bring to mind artists such as PARTYNEXTDOOR but with a more RnB/Rap tint. The new EP comes just a month before Jay Prince begins his European tour to touch the fans with his music in places such as London, Amsterdam, Berlin and more to perform tracks from his ever-growing catalogue.​
