Quickly gaining traction as one of the UK's newest R'N'B talents is Nikita Bassi.

Catching the eye of various publications and critics, Nikita Bassi begun to see support following the release of her debut single and title track "Satin". The track spurred on comparisons to artists like Banks and FKA Twigs as well as general positive acclaim across platforms.

Her sound often draws on influence from instrumentation her Punjabi-Indian roots and her voice flows is sweet-sounding and soulful. Bassi does well to incite "the feels" with her subject matter love related and potent. With her latest single "Rescue" we see a shift to a more soft-pop/dance sound showing early that the songstress is versatile.

Somewhat an enigma, Bassi's Satin EP will serve as her first body of work and give the world a deeper look into her as an artist. Combining R'N'B fundamentals with an arsenal of other sounds and tones is an appreciated refreshing aspect of Nikita's music and one were most looking forward to.
