Headie One Goes Crazy With Visuals For New Single 'Pound Signs'

As one of the UK's leading rappers, Headie One proves that he's not only an amazing artist, but also a natural performer, which he has conveyed since his show-stopping performance at the BRIT Awards last month; and now again with the cinematic visuals for his new song 'Pound Signs', directed by DAPS who has shot videos for many high-profile names in the Hip-Hop Music scene, with the likes of Migos, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Baby and more. The 'Pound Signs' visual is heavily influenced by Quentin Tarrantino's classic heist film 'Reservoir Dogs' (1992).

The scorching and fiery track produced by Likkle Dots and ES takes us back to rapper's drill roots and opens up with an extract from reggae Icon, Bob Marley's popular interview also considered as the 'Best Speech Ever', emphasizing how financial wealth and mobility does not actually lead to true riches and a person's happiness. The excerpt reflects Headie's chorus on 'Pound Signs', "Look what this money is doing to me", highlighting that money is making him 'go crazy'.
