Glizz And AntsLive Release New Single 'INCONSISTENT'

Glizz has not had a viral moment or a trending song that has suddenly shot up and down numbers. Throughout the past few years however, he has been slowly building, laying the foundations as he wades further into the UK Rap scene, and maybe he now has that moment as he collaborates with fellow North Londoner AntsLive to make the tongue-in-cheek ‘INCONSISTENT’.

Released via Relentless Records, on the track the pair go back to back delivering a high-energy set against an infectious piano-based beat that provides the space for Glizz and AntsLive to flow, each bringing their own unique individualism to it as they detail all the different ways they are inconsistent and the distractions in their lives. When one trails off casually the other is quick to fill the space.

There is no pressure to conform to a certain sound, rather they are given the freedom to tell their own stories authentically as Glizz’s voice skips over the beat whilst AntsLive is front-footed.

"This record with AntsLive is a blend of two different sounds, two different perspectives, two different worlds. We wanted to make something that represents both of us, and ‘INCONSISTENT’ does exactly that", Glizz said.

"The track came about fully organically – me and Ants had been talking for a while about getting in the studio, and this was the first song we made. Everything was natural."

MOBO-nominated AntsLive is known for his innovative visuals, and together with Glizz and director Red Moon, the accompanying music video for ‘Inconsistent’, takes inspiration from the popular game Grand Theft Auto and splits time between fantasy and reality using technology.

Glizz is currently working on a debut project set to be released at some point this year.
