Fred Again...

Fred Again... 'ten days' is out followed by a special vinyl edition on October 25th, complete with a white pressing and a poster featuring images tied to each track. The concept for this album is simple ten tracks focusing on ten different days from the past year. Reading through the tracklist we recognise a fan favourite - 'adore u'.

What are your first memories of discovering Fred Again..? How were you introduced to his music? For some, it might be during a simple moment, like making pancakes with a housemate named Mathilde last summer in Brussels. Others might be they stumbled across him at a festival, unplanned - one of the best things about music festivals - discovering new music.

The impression one gets from 'ten days' is about zooming in on the quieter, intimate, more meaningful moments with friends, family and more importantly making time for those moments. "I've had less and less time to spend with my absolute main people, and I've also been making a new record. So I wanted to get all these people together and have an evening in London and play them some of the tunes and just have a really nice time really." He wrote in the description of his 'Rooftop live (Arun's Roof, London) where he invited a bunch of friends onto a rooftop in London to share those 'moments' and a preview of 'ten days.'

The album blends pseudo-ambient techno with euphoric melodies arousing emotions through gentle, hushed vocal samples. Burial, Aphex Twin, Bicep, and Traumprinz all hold similarities and influences to his sound, at the same time the way Fred touches music is uniquely his own.

'ten days' features a line up of collaborations, a mix of well-known and emerging artists. Contributions from

Anderson .Paak, Four Tet, Skrillex, Obongjayar, Jozzy, and Jim Legxacy, among others can be found across 'ten days'.

In the run-up to the album's release, Fred has a had a number of live shows, not to mention a surprise set at Glastonbury and an intimate gig at The Rising Sun pub in Pensford, that only fits up to 60 people highlighting Fred's ability to connect with audiences in both large and smaller venues.

'ten days' is an album serving as a personal invitation from Fred to pause and appreciate the subtle, meaningful. experiences that shape our every day.
