FloFilz collaborates with Alfa Mist on Lo-fi track 'Uteki'

The Germany-based producer unveiled 'Uteki' via Melting Pot Music which comes after his collaborative single with Saib that was released this January.

Taking heavy inspiration from jazzy Lo-fi beats that once took SoundCloud by storm, FloFilz has delivered a velvety smooth number that touches into contemporary Jazz, Hip-Hop and Alternative R&B having been influenced by the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, J Dilla and Madlib as well as himself being a fan of the late producer MF DOOM.

FloFilz on 'Uteki' combines elements of Soul as well as Jazz-infused sounds that complement his relaxed style of production as well as satiny piano loops and flowing saxophone harmonies. FloFilz is no stranger to collaborating with pianist and producer Alfa Mist either, an East London native who fits perfectly within FloFilz production style with his similar Jazz, Soul and Hip-Hop inspired music interests.

As well as coming from a heavily musical background FloFilz demonstrates his exceptional violin skills on the other half of the 'Uteki' as it slows down in tempo, combining the two producers greatest strengths on this track. Having also collaborated with big names in the industry such as Barney Artist, Biig Piig and K, Le Maestro, FloFilz has become one of Germany's most sought after producers.
