Feux and Xadi Collaborate On Somber Track 'NOCTIS'

Fresh-faced hip-hop rappers Feux and Xadi unveiled their brand new single 'NOCTIS' after linking up this summer to conceptualise ideas for a new track. After multiple demo recordings, the duo was joined by producer Engless to create what is now known as 'NOCTIS', an ominous sound with whip-smart verses which has sure enough formulated a cult following for both Feux and Xadi alike.

A concoction of Xadi's flowing delivery to Feux's intangible melodies show the pair subsumed in interesting visuals that look somewhat out of a horror film featuring glowing red eyes, broken TV's, woodlands and pitch black darkness shrouding the musical duo. With the visuals directed by Tommy Chadwick, a dark narrative was pushed for the theme of this project. The track follows a cinematic view which has the two rappers show contemplation within their lyrics as the word 'noctis' means 'of night' in Latin, signifying late nights we sometimes have, reflecting upon ourselves.

Feux's recent EP Dubious generated him a cult fan following which enabled him to land a top 3 spot in the 2021 Prospect 100 competition as well as supporting artists Harvey Gunn and Frankie Stew. Xadi accomplished his reputation for his intricate songwriting skills and versatility which feeds into a handful of genres and sounds, infused with hip-hop and R&B. From being selected to be a part of Reprezent Radio's 'Facing Forward 2021' campaign, he has also been co-signed with big names such as Kojey Radical and Jamz Supernova.

With this collaboration the first of many, Feux and Xadi are ready to show us what they're made of.
